How to use (quick and dirty description):
Press the
button to open the create sequence dialog. brows for the files (8-bit bmp images) that you wish to add to the sequence. Specify a name and finally press ok. To preview the sequence first press the "palette" tab and specify which palette to use. Note! only raw palettes (768bytes) are supported at the moment. Ok, now go back to the sequence tab and press the
button.
Repeat this for every sequence you wish to add. When you can save your shp file by File/Save As or by clicking the button that looks like a floppy.
Other features:
Sequences has no effect on your final shp. SHP builder just takes the frames forall sequences and adds it to the destination file. The reason why you create sequences it then you can preview each animation part of your file and the ability to automaticle create an inifile with the frame reference in it. It also alowa you to change the rate, x/y offset for each secuence.
Remember that this is a alpha version. it's buggy and lots of features has not been implemented
Future features:
- PCX Support!
- Better preview
- Ability to add empty frames (as shadows)
- Open SHP files
- Compression of SHP frames
- Export sequence / single frames back to BMP/PCX
- Rewrite the internal functions to prevent errors better.
